Nearly 50 people enjoyed getting a taste of rowing on Humboldt Bay on June 8. After a quick lesson on rowing machines, and an introduction to the boats, participants sat in one of HBRA’s 8-person rowing shells and went out on the Bay with the direction of a coach. This annual event will next be held in June 2025.
Interested teens can follow up by attending a summer rowing camp, and adults can attend a series of training practices beginning July 1. See related articles for more information on registering.
