Fall Season
Fall - 5 days a week, M - F, 4:00 pm - 6:15, September to December - $450
For those doing other fall sports you can also join in November for $150
(Fall and Spring membership fees may be paid in monthly installments but
membership is for the entire season or half season for those joining in
November.)
Fall is the start of our competitive year which culminates with the South West Region Junior Championships in May or with the Youth National Championships in June if we qualify. Our team has a competitive and non-competitive component as not all of our rowers like to compete. September is a great time to join for this season. No experience is required. We will get you rowing by our first race at the end of October. For those that have fall sports we also accept new rower in November through December for those who want an early start on the Spring season.
Competition Team:
For those 14 and up who wish to compete we have races in the fall and the spring. Check our calendar for dates. There are additional costs for racing. Each event averages $150 and will require USRowing Membership and a race uniform. Competition is a fun way to meet rowers from other teams and to expand your skills as a rower. We have races up and down the west coast and regularly qualify for National Championships in the spring for the ultra-committed rowers.
Recreation Team:
For those 11 to 13, and for 14+ who do not wish to race. We are happy to have you join us for practices. There is lots to learn and fun to have for all. This team spends a lot of time training with the competitive team but tends to spend more time on the water while the competitive team also has regular land workouts. There are still plenty of workouts and drills but the focus is more geared to enjoy the sport of rowing then to get as fast as possible.
More information can be found in the Fall packet and the parent handbook.
